Hotel Bannwaldsee - Halblech

This venue is situated in a beautiful location and our standard double room was comfortable, well-organized, and offered a pleasant view of the inner courtyard.

The hotel was gorgeous, great services provided, magnificent location in a great area. Location: the venue was really close to the mountains in the south as well as Fussen. I visited The Lord High Admiral quite close to the venue for a few drinks.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like!

Huge, fairly quiet room with a private bathroom and shower facilities, a hairdryer, and bath robes...

The location was great-it was a short, easy walk to all the places we wanted to visit. 🏞️.

The restaurant food (dinner) was nice.Value for money too.

Like most ppl found out that the pool is too cold. For breakfast, we had to wait for croissants which was finiished and they took some time to filled up the orange juice.

This hotel offers a clean and inviting atmosphere with lovely garden views, friendly and helpful staff, and a fantastic restaurant featuring a delicious Bavarian menu and great service.

Location of the hotel close to the castles. Restaurant in the hotel was good. They have their own spa faciilities and recreation area

Staff spoke very little English. The room was big, but with very small window and low roof. No view of the castles, as promissed in their description. WiFi worked badly. After 2 nights we moved to another hotel with a real view of the castles and much more comfortable.

Nice view to the plains from our window. Large room with dining table and cute patio. Good breakfast and service.

We loved the cleanliness of this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were great, including a swimming pool, sauna, and even transportation. We were also very pleased with the location, as it was situated in a very quiet area, perfect for relaxation.

We arrived late one evening at the Hotel Bannwaldsee and received a lovely friendly welcome. The hotel is clean, tidy and comfortable and we had a nice outlook from our balcony. The breakfast was very good and all the staff made a real effort. We found the hotel to be well positioned for touring around the area and the excellent swimming pool and sauna are a nice extra and well worth trying out. The parking was easy.

I would be nice to have a decent modern tv with some English channels.

Very clean, friendly staff, very close to Neuschwanstein castle and most importantly my wife loved it.

Hard to think of anything.

I particularly loved the sauna and the swimming pool. The hotel was incredibly clean and well-organised and the breakfast was wonderful- 5 different types of muesli being just one example of what was on offer! The room was airy (it had its own balcony with chairs) and very comfortable.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, good dinners, nice pool (a bit cold).

Room and bathroom too small. Also, very hot at night - no aircon. Pillows were too soft (feather filled). Unable to connect to WiFi from our room - only able to use in hotel lobby and restaurant.
